New Single “Fire in the Rain”

“FIRE IN THE RAIN”
 
Legendary Canadian Country / Folk / Bluegrass group The Good Brothers continue to celebrate 50+ years of making music with the release of their brand new single “Fire In The Rain“, out May 23, 2025 via Countrycore Records.
 
“‘Fire in the Rain’ is a simple love song about a fiery love that can’t be extinguished. It’s a metaphor, depicting a relationship that although frequently tested, never fails.” Says Good Brothers’ guitarist / vocalist Brian Good.
 
“‘I got the idea after a late-night field party that was suddenly interrupted by a heavy down pour of rain. When we returned the next day to pick up our coolers and lawn chairs the fire was still burning. Of course, this was back in the 90’s when I was still young enough to attend field parties LOL. 30 years later we finished the song just before recording it with Producer Graham Trude.”

The group – formed in 1973, and consisting of brothers Bruce, Brian, and Larry Good – have won 8 consecutive JUNO Awards from 1977 – 1984, received numerous Canadian Country Music Association Awards and were inducted in the CCMA Hall Of Fame in 2004. They were presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Toronto Music Association in 2015. In 2019, The Good Brothers were honoured with the Impact Award by the Country Music Association of Ontario.

In 2023, The Good Brothers began working with Canadian music Producer (and Country Artist) Graham Trude and his upstart Countrycore Records company on creating new music.    “As we celebrate over 50 years of making music together, we are thrilled to enter this partnership with Countrycore Records.
